The Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (UTCN) organized the launch of Ro-Green Sustainable Electric Mobility Solutions, a strategic research, development and innovation initiative in the field of sustainable mobility.

The 15 million euro project is co-financed by the EU (the non-reimbursable European funding for this project is 67 million lei) through the Smart Growth, Digitalisation and Financial Instruments Programme 2021-2027. Ro-Green is coordinated by UTCN and implemented in partnership with four industrial partners, including Tehnopro Engineering.

The project will develop in three main directions: solutions for electric aerial platforms, a modular charging station based on renewable energy, and a hydrogen fuel cell integration/positioning system for land mobility applications.
